TDAP (Back) Flap

TDAP (BACK) FLAP

Rejuvenating Silhouttes

The TDAP flap uses excess skin and fat from the back  to reconstruct the breast following a mastectomy or lumpectomy. It is commonly used in combination with implant based reconstruction or fat grafting procedures.

The TDAP flap is commonly used for the reconstruction of partial breast or lumpectomy defects. In cases where patients have a smaller breast size, this flap may offer sufficient tissue to fully restore a breast following mastectomy. Occasionally, the TDAP flap might be combined with an implant to enhance volume.
