Mommy Makeover

A combination of procedures designed to restore your body after pregnancy, including breast surgery, tummy tuck, and liposuction.

What Does a Mommy Makeover Consist Of?

The Mommy Makeover surgery is a series of plastic surgeries designed to restore your body to its pre-pregnancy state. Depending on how your body has changed after pregnancy and childbirth, you may elect to have one Mommy Makeover procedure or several.

Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation addresses common issues after breastfeeding, such as loss of volume, sagging, and loose skin. Most patients can choose between breast implants, fat grafting, or a breast lift to reshape and restore vitality to the breasts.

Breast Lift (Mastopexy)

A breast lift addresses the issue of sagging breasts by removing excess skin and reshaping the breast tissue. This works to tighten the surrounding tissue while creating better support for firmer and perkier breasts.

Liposuction

Liposuction addresses the issue of excess stubborn fat that diet and exercise can’t mitigate. This technique can allow sculpting in several areas of your body to provide desired definition and curves. Your surgeon will help you determine the best procedure for your situation and how to best prepare.

Tummy Tuck

Tummy tucks (abdominoplasty) address the issue of excess skin and fat in the abdominal area. The procedure involves the removal of this excess skin and fat while contouring the abdominal area for a more toned appearance.

Repair of Abdominal Muscles (Diastasis Recti)

After pregnancy or weight loss, your abdominal muscles (rectus abdominis) are weakened and separate, causing bulging and protrusion of your abdominal area. This can be reversed by repairing the abdominal muscles back to the midline, creating a flat and toned midsection.

Revision of C-Section Scar

Any previous unsightly scars from your C-section can be improved by the scar revision procedure. This can be additionally combined with a mini tummy tuck.
